As we approach the season of Lent, we should start praying and asking God to help us focus on the things that keep us distant from Him.  We need to take time and examine our lives to discover what God is revealing to us.  Each Sunday we need to listen to His Word and determine how we will make this Lent the MOST fruitful Lent yet.  I would suggest that prior to coming to Mass you read one of the readings for the day.  Listen to what God is telling you; then after you have heard the reading read and explained, then meditate for few moments during the day on the richness of the Word.
